We're finally catching our breath from all the excitement of the 2017 FINA World Championships so here's a quick summary of how some of our Funkita stars performed against the best in the world.

There were 5 Funkita F-Teamers on Team GB that took the world by storm. Team GB star and Olympian Molly Renshaw came an incredible 6th with a time of 2:22.96 in the 200m breaststroke. Fellow UK F-Teamer, Kathleen Dawson also made finals for the 100m backstroke, placing 8th (59.90). Kathleen also raced the 50m backstroke, coming 19th (28.42) in the heats. UK backstroker and world stage debutante Rosie Rudin stepped up to the blocks in the 200m backstroke, placing 21st with a time of 2:13.27 in the heats.

Also stepping up to the world stage for the first time was Team GB's Charlotte Atkinson. Charlotte spread her wings in the 200m Fly, placing 21st (2:10.68) in the heats. Abbie Wood competed in the 400m IM placing 20th for her heat with a time of 4:47.30.

Nepal's Sofia Shah gave it her all in the 50m Free with a time of 29.73 in her heat.

Australian F-Team divers Anabelle Smith and Melissa Wu plunged into the competition across multiple events. Three-time Olympian Melissa sprang into action in her pet event, the 10m platform - where she placed 5th after an incredible effort. Anabelle narrowly missed out on a medal, placing 4th in the 3m synchronised dive. It was an incredible two weeks, and watching the hard work for our F-Teamers pay off was extremely rewarding. Congratulations to all those involved!
