Seven of our Funkita F-Teamers took on the best swimmers in the world last week at the FINA World Championships in Kazan. We're proud to say that our girls recorded some great results - not to mention valuable experience on the Road to Rio! 

Topping the list of achievers was London based British swimmer Aimee Wilmott. After a terrific heat swim in her specialist event, the 400 individual medley, she secured her place in the final and managed an impressive 7th place! Taylor Mckeown also had a successful campaign in what was her first World Championships. The breaststroker came home with a PB and 9th place in the 100, 12th in the 200 and a bronze medal in the 4 x 100 medley relay representing Australia. We had two other breaststrokers representing Funkita. Our youngest World Champs F-Teamer Molly Renshaw finished 18th in the 200 breaststroker, just 2 places off making the semi-final and Raminta Dvariskyte from Lithuania finished in 32nd
